hi. i'm michael. i build onchain things, mostly because they should exist and nobody else is going to build them.
Blockhash is the studio i started in 2025 to be the umbrella for the weird stuff: howdy (token-gated chat for nft communities), regular punks (built with Sheipi, pixel-art robot dogs with cryptopunks heads), and slurry (swap anything).
before Blockhash i co-founded Facet with Tom Lehman (co-founder of Genius). we built a DEX that did $400M+ in volume, an NFT marketplace, and an inscription primitive called Ethscriptions that i'm extremely proud of. before that i co-founded an nft launchpad called Carve and a startup studio called Kickstart Crew that i grew to a team of 10. somewhere in the middle of all that i built Taskful, a productivity app that hit #1 in the App Store.
i've been writing software since i was 15. the throughline across every chapter has been the same: building things i wanted to exist, with people i wanted to build them with. Blockhash is the current chapter, and the door is open. if you've got something to build, holler.
